Rush 2049 also boasts the addition of Wings to the cars to perform midair acrobatics manoeuvres which make San Francisco 2049 a unique racing game compared with other entries of the Rush series. The special five channel speaker adds to the thrill of driving.
The game comprises of 6 racetracks, four stunt arenas, eight battle arenas and 1 unlock able obstacle named, “The Gauntlet”. The stunt mode feature of San Francisco allows the player to earn additional points. Moreover, it includes a death match mode and race mode that can be enjoyed by up to 4 players.
