John Popaduik in 1997 discovered Cirqus Voltaire Pinball and released it with the help of Midway Games under the Bally label. It is regarded as one of the top 20 electronic pinball games of all time. The game is based on the idea that the player has a series of nine marvels such as Juggler, Menagerie, Acrobats, Side Show, Ringmaster Frenzie and many others so that he can join the Circus. For each marvel completed, the player is awarded a letter. Once you complete all the marvels and all letters discovered they spell out CIRQUS and then and only then is the player invited to join the circus.
Neon lights are running along the right-hand ramp, a mini-playfield at the top of the centre ramp with a magnet that catches the ball. Even a Ringmaster head that occasionally comes up out of the playfield to mock the player adds to the unique features of this game.
