Cruis’n Exotica produced by Midway Games is a sequel to Cruis’n World and the third entry in the Cruis’n series. Since 1972 Midway Games has released 45 different machines under the name of Cruis’n World that are stored in the database of The International Arcade Museum.
Unlike its predecessors, Cruis’n Exotica adds a PIN system to track progress. Midway has ensured that Cruis’n Exotica gives the player a feel of real time gaming experience and has exotic racing locations in the universe like Korea, Atlantis, Vegas, Thailand, and outer space like Mars, etc. The tracks are branched off into easy, medium and hard levels. Moreover, Cruis’n Exotica provides various driver options like a cowboy, baby, clown, etc.
Cruis’n Exotica has twelve tracks that make your racing experience expand to different tracks that travel underwater like in Atlantis race track, straddling earth and interstellar space like Mars
Similar to San Francisco Rush 2049, Cruisn’ Exotica uses a telephone keypad for creating, accessing and saving each player’s information.
Cruis’n Exotica offers its players, both automatic and manual transmission cars of 7 different styles.
At max, two players can enjoy this game on its upright standard style. The control panel of Cruis’n Exotica has a steering wheel, two pedals (accelerator and brake) along with a four position Shifter (1/2/3/4). Furthermore, the racing experience becomes more fun packed with the sound of the simplified stereo.
