From a single player to multiple player teams
Gear Up is a team building game. However, this game can just as easily be played with a single person. The end result of this game is to help with problem solving and that too at a fast pace of thinking.
This game is normally employed by companies when they take their employees offsite and even otherwise when they want to have team building activities for the employees. When the Gear Up involves multiple players on a single team it helps with team building as the team needs to think collectively to come up with a solution that they feel is the best. This also takes into consideration the various strategies of different employees and therefore they learn to think as a cohesive unit.
The reason why Gear Up is a great fast thinking game is that there are various gears and these gears need to be fit into the centers and post putting the gears in, they need to be cranked up so that it can be used to raise all the four flags which are there. Once this is done, the game is said to be completed.
In this game, the team needs to align the gears such that they are able to reach all 6 of the stations before the other team does. That is the end result of the game and the goal they need to attain. The team that is able to do so first is declared the winner.
