Whack a Ball – Basketball Game

Whack a Ball – is a basketball-themed whacking arcade game that is the original concept of Arcade Party Rental. This is the second in the series of sports teamed whacking games. This time we created a basketball-themed game dedicated to our local NBA team Golden State Warriors. 

We took the original Whac a Mole game that was custom built for us with custom trim and sound; we replaced the mole characters with the miniature basketball and wrapped the whole match in custom-designed graphics resembling a basketball arena. The game plays just like the original game. The game starts slowly to give you the feeling that you’re better than the game itself. Then the basketballs get faster and faster until they are quicker than you are. The faster you hit the balls, the higher score you get.
Our friend Michael from Invelity internet company designed the graphics for the Whack a Ball game. The rest of the work was done here in our in-house studio, including miniature custom basketballs. This is a beautiful, fun game and a great addition to any sports-themed party.
